blursd: It's worth noting that Grenell used to work for Moldovan politiician Vladimir Plahotniuc, up until just the last few years. Plahotnuic has since fled Moldova, and is currently being sought by international authorities of allgeged widespread corruption in Moldova. The tyeo of work Grenell did for Plahotniuc would require him to register with the US State Department as a foreign agent (working at the behest of a foreign government, or foreign politician - which is NOT illegal, in and of itself). There is no record of Grenell ever making such a registration with the State Department. Coincidentally, this is one of the charges Manafort and Gates were both found guilty of violating. Moreover, Grenell's federal security clearence as Ambassador was granted only after the White House overrode the FBI's denial. Grenell notably also has no military experience, nor any sort of experience in the intelligence industry. He's ONLY professional experience is in public relations, and as a government lobbyist.
